who we are
The history of the Khamuani family business began in Thano Bola Khan, Sindh, when Mr. Khamu Mal started selling high-quality grains, earning the trust of his customers through his commitment to honesty and quality. His son, Mr. Veero Mal, joined him, and together they expanded their operations, culminating in the establishment of the Jhoole Lal Corporation in Hyderabad in the 1970s, which was later renamed R.K. Commission Shop. Following Mr. Mal’s passing in 1992, Mr. Gopal Khamuani led the company and founded Kanwal Trading in 2000, which grew to include multiple processing units and international branches.The family business has maintained a philanthropic focus, donating 10% of its net income to support the needy and establishing the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Trust for community development. In 2017, V M Builders & Developers was founded, and the family continued to expand its reach, opening a branch in the UK in 2022. In 2023, brothers Mr. Om Parkash Khamuani and Mr. Ramesh Khamuani launched VM Agro Industries, focusing on the international import and export of sesame seeds, rice, pulses, spices, herbs, yellow maize, and other food products, furthering the family legacy of quality and service.
